Rescue Me ID: 17-05-15-00590Kingston (male)

Siamese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Kingston is a very proud cat with some quirks. He'll stretch out on his back, with his feet in the air and total belly exposure, but like any true King gets a little embarrassed unless sleeping soundly that he was found relaxing in such pleasure. He is a mix breed, but you can definitely see his Linx Point beauty, but he is not high maintenance nor does he shed any more than the average cat. In fact, he mainly just looks, like royalty, but otherwise, he is a typical cat wanting a forever home and wanting to be loved. It will take the right family who wants to give Kingston a second chance at life and let him learn to relax and most ... (Read More)importantly bond. He's a hearty eater and enjoys playing. He gets along with other cats and a playful partner would be good for his calm demeanor. Or there is always the option of making him the docile King of the Castle. He's an all around wonderful cat in need of a great home. Please consider opening your home and your heart for Kingston. He is estimated to be about 2 years old and is a Linx Point Siamese/tabby mix. As you can see you might need to share the bathroom sink, but I bet he's less messy than other family members! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-18-00003Sunny (male)

Siamese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sunny is a Flame Point Siamese that was found roaming our subdivision. He hung out on our porch for two months until I exhausted every effort to find his owner. Unfortunately no one claimed this very sweet boy. He is chipped and was found to be abandoned by a family out of Casper, Wyoming. Metro Animal Shelter is were he was raised as a kitten. I don't have a clue as to how he arrived here in the Springs. We finally took him into our vet in Black Forest and found out that Sunny had been neutered and that he was chipped. There is no forward on his owner. Our vet gave him the rabies, parvo, distemper and leukemia vaccinations. So he's is ... (Read More)good to go. Sunny is playful and has a beautiful temperament. His eyes are a beautiful blue and he is very smart. Sunny would love a forever family that would love him and make him part of theirs. He doesn't potty in the house and eats wet and dry cat food. He loves to sleep during the day and enjoys being with other cat friends to frolick around. Sunny will gladly sit on your lap or snuggle up beside you. He plays with our dogs, but tolerates them mostly. He's a sweet boy and would be the right addition to any family that would love him but give him a certain amount of freedom to roam on his own. He comes when he's called and the kids in the neighborhood love him! Sunny has rings around his orange tail and has orange ears. The color of his body is a beautiful vanilla/orange. Sunny is a lover and would enjoy being part of your family! Meow...meow! (Less)

Animal ID: 1157Claire (female)

Siamese    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Claire Flame Point Siamese Female 14 years old 9 lbs. What's today's date? What! It's 2016 already? Golly-gee-willikers, time passes by so quickly. I cannot believe I'm already a senior citizen-or so the label on my bag of food tells me. Luckily for me, I still have lots of love to give to an amazing forever family. I've recently been staying with a foster family and they have been absolutely delightful, but I'm ready to find my senior feline palace-or forever home if you prefer to call it. You know what the best part of adopting a senior animal is? All the sage advice and stories you'll get to hear. Like that one time my friend Gladys ... (Read More)got a new bag of catnip for Christmas and we went out to tease the dogs next door%BD'%BD|maybe you had to be there to think it's funny. Anyways, I have lots of valuable worldly advice too; like never paw at a yellow and black striped flying bug, or never swallow a grasshopper whole because they'll keep hopping in your tummy. That's only the tip of my advice iceberg-or adviceberg, as I like to call it. I am also a big fan of other cat friends and would also do well with a dog friend (as long as he is calm and polite with having a feline buddy!) So a home where I can have other furry friends is a great match for me but I also would do just fine as the solo animal in the home as well. One thing to note is that I do have a few medical issues that are being addressed with medication at this time. I need medicine to help with my hyperthyroidism and I do have the beginning stages of kidney disease and possibly liver disease. The kind folks at PawsCo can fill you in on all the details but it mostly entails me being on a few medications, getting my bloodwork checked twice a year, and a special food that is easier on my kidneys. I appreciate you understanding that a sweet cat like me with some medical needs is still a wonderful match for a loving family and I promise to fill your life with lots of love and happiness as my thank you to you! If you're interested in hearing more of my stories and advice-like how to maintain your balance while swatting inanimate objects-then please email my friends from PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org to set up a meet-and-greet with me.
