JoJo is an 8 year old lynx point Siamese. She is very sweet, loves being with people and sitting on laps getting petted. She is a vocal Siamese with a sweet little meow. JoJo has some issues though and is needing to be rehomed due to her litterbox issues. She has a tendency to want to go on clothes or soft bedding (pees). She sometimes will defecate right outside the litterbox (next to it). She goes inside the litterbox as well. We have taken her to the vet, increased the number of litterboxes, changed litter, kept the litterboxes clean, tried Prozac, etc. Nothing has worked. We have other cats in the home and think that it may be a territorial thing. Therefore she may do better as the only cat but is not aggressive towards other cats. She also has allergy issues. She will break out with red bumps on her head randomly (the vet thinks environmental allergies). This usually resolves with 1/2 tab of benadryl twice a day in four to five days. She also has a four paws declawed because of her allergies...she was tearing her head up itching. She still will rub these areas raw until the Benadryl kicks in. JoJo had her issues but is such a sweet cat. We just can't have her peeing inside the home anymore with our child. We have put up with the issues for years because she is such a sweet kitty. We don't want to have to euthanize her or have her locked up in a shelter. Please someone help us adopt this sweet kitty!!! We really need someone who has had issues like this and are understanding and patient with her to help her overcome her litterbox issue! (Less)
