Rescue Me ID: 14-12-13-00199MeowMeows (female)

Siamese Mix    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive

This kitty was left at my porch, I tracked down her owner because I could tell she wasn't an outdoor cat but they didn't want her back. I have been trying to find someone I know to take her for months. I was asked by a relative to hold onto her until they moved...but now that they did they want a 'kitten' rather than a 1 year old 'cat'. I am not sure if she is spayed (I don't think she is) I can't afford to get her to a vet because I just drained my account on an older dogs vet bills. I am requiring vet references as a MUST!! I will also require she go to the vet to get her shots and to be spayed IMMEDIATELY. I get so many cats dropped of on ... (Read More)my porch it's not even funny. People know I wont leave an animal in the cold or go without food which is why they leave them there. There are enough kitties in the world we don't need any more!! I am asking a small adoption fee to ensure she wont be used for bait or just be left outside. SHE HATES BEING OUTSIDE SHE IS AN INDOOR CAT ONLY!!!! She is healthy and very cuddly and happy. I have kids that she lets carry her around and I have dogs and other cats as well. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-01-00434Artemis & Nemesis (female)

Siamese    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Artemis & Nemesis - two 9-year old, purebred (papered) spayed, purebred Siamese littermates are in need of a new home as I am selling the house I am in. They have lived with Dogs and another Cat - but generally need about a week in a new environment to adjust to things (they will be grouchy and moody until they settle in). They are absolute babies. They are incredibly friendly and talkative and warm up to visitors very quickly as well. They have no known health issues. I am hoping to find a new home for both of them together as they are sisters and have always been together.

The first British Siamese were given to the English ambassador to Siam (Thailand) as a gift. Siamese can use their paws like hands to open cabinets. Some Siamese can live to be over 20 years old. The voice of the Siamese has been likened to that of an infant; the sound is called Meezer, which is also a nickname for the Siamese. Siamese are one of the oldest domesticated cat breeds.
