Rescue Me ID: 16-04-27-00450Felix (male)

Siamese Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Not Good with Dogs
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Felix is a flame point Siamese mix who is looking for a forever home. His owner sadly passed away and the family was unable to get near him because he was fearful and has some history of biting. I was asked to help with Felix. I was able to get near him, crate him, and bring him back to my house to foster him until I could find a good home. After spending some time with him, I think felix just needs a quiet, single cat home with a lot of TLC. He is terrified of my cats (siblings who admittedly weren't welcoming) and after nearly two months of working with him he will only move between two rooms in my house. In the evening when he thinks no ... (Read More)one is around, he will make an appearance and has a lot of love to give. He does not seem to have a problem with adult men and women, unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to see how he does around children. (Less)

lnteresting Siamese Trivia Low-Cost Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinics
The first British Siamese were given to the English ambassador to Siam (Thailand) as a gift. Siamese can use their paws like hands to open cabinets. Some Siamese can live to be over 20 years old. The voice of the Siamese has been likened to that of an infant; the sound is called Meezer, which is also a nickname for the Siamese. Siamese are one of the oldest domesticated cat breeds.
