Rescue Me ID: 14-07-22-00641Garth (male)

Siamese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Garth is a beautiful, smart, kind cat in need of a loving home. He has a lot of personality, loves to cuddle, and is always gentle with our toddler who chases him around the place. He prefers to be indoors to outdoors. Garth was our 'baby' before we had a baby, and now we are expecting another. Since having children, we can tell he feels neglected. We are looking for a home for him where he will get a lot of attention.

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-22-00466Callie (female)

Siamese Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Callie is a beautiful Persian/Siamese mix (mother Persian) we adopted about 6 years ago when she was a kitten. She's a typical cat - lazy, comfortable on large piles of pillows, and friendly when she wants to be. Callie has been well taken care of her whole life. She's current on vaccinations, general vet checkups, etc. Her one issue is that she's a little overweight. We're moving and can't take pets with us, so Callie needs a good home to go to.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-20-00298MoMo (male)

Siamese    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, I am seeking a loving home where my sweet Momo is well cared for and it has to be done ASAP before he is sent to the animal shelter. My brother was caring for him and recently had a relapse with a health condition, making him unable to care for him. I want to keep him so bad, but I am unable to keep this cat as I am in between homes, while seeking work in Eugene, although thankful I am out of a previous bad situation. (while MoMo was always safe and cared for, of course). He had shot at WAGS when he was a kitten and he used to live with lots of cats and be around kids okay. (I'm not sure if purebred Siamese or not, but he appears to ... (Read More)be and if I recall correctly, that's what I was told.) Anyone out there able and willing to give this guy a home with toys, affection, and space that he needs? He likes to be outdoors but has been indoors much of the time and enjoys a perch to sit on, along with looking out the window. He is only indoors when living in the city, but has recently become used to a cat leash too, which my brother started training him. He likes to play with dangling toys and cuddly stuffed animals he can snuggle with and loves to be petted and loved on with lots of purring! This is very hard for me to do and it breaks my heart. Since I can't take care of him, I want him to be taken care of by the next best choice in a loving home within a positive, caring and supportive environment. Ideally, he should go to a home who is used to the unique nature of Siamese and adores this particular breed,as they can require more attention than some breeds and are very attached to caretakers, while very much enjoying affection, and sometimes slobbering a lot when very happy. (He seems to adapt well to new environments, given he likes the person's personality and he is pretty easy-going.) Thank you! PS I ask for adoption fee to be sure the party bringing him home is serious about taking care for him. I would like to talk with you on the phone before meeting too. You may call or text at the number provided. Voice mail is available too. (Less)

The first British Siamese were given to the English ambassador to Siam (Thailand) as a gift. Some Siamese can live to be over 20 years old. The voice of the Siamese has been likened to that of an infant; the sound is called Meezer, which is also a nickname for the Siamese.
