|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-15-00458Yoko (female)|
Yoko was rescued from a shelter to be a companion for my male rescue cat. My male cat continues to attack and be aggressive towards her and she has been under stress. She is a very loving, gentle cat and is a wonderful companion who loves to sit on your lap and play. She has a wonderful personality, very quirky and fun. I love her and am heart broken to rehome her but she needs to live in a home with low stress level. Because she has been so stressed with my male cat, I think she would be best in a home without other animals. She is devoted and would be a wonderful companion for someone to give her a 'forever home'. Yoko was declawed by her previous owner. I can't rehome my male cat because of his aggression, he would be put down and my son rescued him so I feel I have no choice but to rehome her in hopes that someone will love her as much as I do and that she will have a home that she can 'own' and feel safe and loved in. She really is a wonderful cat, has never been a problem in any way and deserves the best after all that she has been through. It will take her several months to feel safe again, so she needs someone with patience and kindness and understanding. I suspect she was abused previously because she would flinch when I would try to pet her for about 6 months after I had her. It has taken ages for her to trust. I think she would be best with a single person, preferably female, but its unknown how she would do in other situations. I think other cats may stress her out now and probably dogs. If you are looking for a devoted, loving, and quirky personality cat, Yoko is it. (Less)
