     When I found this sweet, loving boy I wasn't sure how I would find him a home. I couldn't keep him, but couldn't turn him away. I called 30 no kill shelters or more and no luck. Months went by and I was in bed and came across Rescue Me! I posted his picture and information here and not even a month later a wonderful woman named Katie contacted me saying she was interested in Simon. So she paid for all his vet visits got his shots made sure he was healthy got him fixed and chipped and flew to Ohio from Chicago to pick him up! He has the absolute best family ever he has a human brother whom he loves he has a mommy and daddy who spoil him and a fur brother who is a cat. None of this would have been possible without the help of this site and I am forever grateful. She found him on this site and wanted him. Her fur baby of 10 plus years had recently passed and she said Simon looked like him and stood out and she had to have him! I am truly amazed at the wonders this site does and without this site none of this would have been possible. Thank you so much for helping me help Simon he is way better than what he was when I found him as a stray who had been tossed outside to die and he now has the best life ever!      We are so happy with our new baby, James! Today he purred and is playing with a cat toy. We got him on Saturday and he is acclimating very nicely. We are so happy to have a Siamese again. This past July we lost our beloved siamese kitty, Thainee, of over 16 years and were heartbroken. I wasn't sure if we'd ever get another cat as we already have two rescue cats.      Yoshe (Japanese for 'Beauty'), was picked up seven days ago. She has taken up residence under my bed, but is venturing out from time to time. Although she was not eating for the first couple of days, she is now eating small amounts of kibble and is a big fan of canned shredded chicken. She was extremely anxious but calmed down with an enforced petting session. I know she will develop into wonderful, loving family member. I talk to her all the time, and she frequently 'answers' me.      At long last Romeo has found a home! Actually the best possible, all you could ever want kind of home. The first eight months of his life, Romeo was abused, locked in a bathroom without proper food, contact or sanitation. He was also physically hit. He was left in a Tupperware on our porch, and so we began loving him and rehabilitating. We knew Romeo was going to need a very understanding environment to thrive. Through Rescue Me, we received a call from a couple who had recently lost a cat that looked like he could have been Romeo's Grampa. They came for a visit and it was love at first sight for all. Romeo was rolling over, rubbing up against them, hugging them. Clearly he was thrilled and so were they. A week later I delivered Romeo to a huge house with windows for him to look out and a loving family just waiting to adore him. It's been two weeks and Romeo now has rescued kitty brother named Frank and he could not be happier. He can run and wrestle with Frank, and continue his ninja style tricks, take naps in the sun and best of all hunt crickets at night. He sleeps on their bed and I can just hear him say 'Oooooh, I never knew life could be like this!' Because as much as we loved Romeo, he was still confined to a bedroom in our multi rescue family. We despaired of ever finding him a place of his own, where he could thrive. He so deserved this. Romeo stole our hearts and we could not be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you Jeff and Rescue Me for the opportunity to reach people! And Thank you Sarah and Joey for seeking us out and giving Romeo a real home!

     We found this kitten underneath our building complex crying its eyes out. One of my friends was able to persuade her to come out. Since I couldn't keep her, we already had a cat, we decided to find her a home. Another friend of mine told me about Rescue Me, so i posted her information. When I got home from class, I found out she was taken to the animal shelter. My cousin wanted to adopt her but wasn't able to. I got several emails and one phone call, once they found out she was part Siamese. Today, I found out someone adopted her. I know she went to a good home. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     I just want to thank Rescue Me for allowing me to post a picture and information about my kitten on their site! After putting flyers out in numerous places and not getting any responses, I decided to post on this site and had several people contact me and found the perfect home for my kitten! We were able to chat back and forth on this site, asking one another questions until I knew that was the perfect person for my kitten. That person agreed to pay the adoption fee as well as to have her spayed and to send me the information from the vet. She has also kept in touch letting me know how the transition has been going and has sent me pictures. I had never heard of this site before now, but I will DEFINITELY recommend it to others! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! Just an FYI, I donated the adoption fee to Rescue Me!!

     This site has been a wonder. I have found homes for both my cats that I rescued myself, but unfortunately had to give up. If it had not been for Rescue Me, I would have had to take them to the local shelter, and it is so hard to know if your pet will be safe. I also was able to find homes for both of them that I truly think will be loving and happy for them. It was tearing my heart out to think of giving them up, but I do feel better knowing that they will be in good hands. I can't thank this site enough. I only wish I had found it earlier!

     I found my flame point Siamese with a yorkie dog by my front yard. We have three acres, and how they got there I have no clue. Were they dropped off or did they wander there? I tried to find their home but nobody came forward to claim them. I'm a sucker for furry friends and so I took them in, but I knew I couldn't keep them. It only took two days, and this wonderful person and her husband came forward and kept the bonded two together. Rescue Me is a God send for these poor innocent babies.      I love Oscar so much, but had an unexpected life change and could not bring him with me. I went down several paths of trying to keep him, including asking family to take him for a while. I found boarding to be nearly as high as my potential rent. Nobody would rent to me in my new area with a cat, and my health was deteriorating. I posted a nice picture of him on Rescue Me and got three responses almost immediately. I was able to pick out his adopting home within just a couple of days of posting. I highly encourage you to charge an adoption fee of a donation to the Rescue Me site. I might never have found the quality home Oscar is going to without it.      Rescue Me increased the visibility of our cat that needed adopting. It was a whirlwind day when AJ was adopted. We had one person come forward from Facebook and one person through Rescue Me, all on the same day. You have to maximize exposure to reach as many people as possible to ensure that the forever home can be found. Googling with a specific term 'flamepoint siamese' got the latter person straight to Rescue Me, showing how helpful this site is. AJ's story, YouTube video, photos all worked to find the forever home. Rescue Me should be a part of any adoption plan. Please keep up the good work, and people adopt first!

     I adopted Kiwi, a sweet, seven year old Siamese whose mom had to give her up for serious health issues. I am very happy to have this sweet girl in our home. I have a 15 year old Burmese and my only fear was that they might have a power struggle over who the alpha cat is. Hanner, my 15 year old, weighs seven pounds and has no front claws. Kiwi, who is seven years old and weighs 20 pounds has claws. She is being very polite and submissive, letting my little senior girl be the boss. They may have fussed at each other a little, but in the end Kiwi very sweetly accepted her position. I love both cats and feel they will enjoy each other very much in the years to come. We are only on our eighth day being together so we all will need to get to know and trust each other better. It feels like a great match. We are blessed. Thank you very much to Rescue Me and all the volunteers. We will always remember how you made it possible for us to become a family.

     I was heartbroken to need to find a new home for my special needs Siamese kitty. Many rescue organizations told me he was un-adoptable due to his pica (fabric eating). Within a few days of posting him on Rescue Me, I was contacted by a wonderful woman who ultimately adopted him. I couldn't have found a better situation for him, a retired vet tech who loves Siamese cats, has had multiple cats with the same condition before, and whose home was ideally suited to keeping him safe and healthy in countless ways that my own home could never be. I know that he will be safe and happy and dearly loved, and I am grateful to Rescue Me for helping me make that connection and to his new family for providing him with such a wonderful home.

     Many people told me that no one would adopt an older cat with health issues, but a good friend of mine encouraged me to follow my heart and do all I could to find Kiki a home. I put her on several websites, along with her story of being cruelly neglected by her former owner who was alcoholic. In the meantime, she stayed in my sunroom, closed off from my three other cats who were upset about me fostering her. Finally, I met a young gentleman with two older cats, and an incredible heart for animals who wanted Kiki. I informed him that her legs were weak and her hygiene was not very good. She wasn't grooming herself very well. But he was not put off at all. It just goes to show that you can't give up. There are amazing and good people out there. It's heartwarming to know that and I'm assured she will get the love and care she needs to live out the rest of her day. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     Our family cats were recently adopted by a wonderful couple. We discovered our child is allergic to cats and has asthma, as a result, we needed to find someone to adopt our cats, Tiny and Storm. We were very lucky to find Bonnie, she flew in from another state to rescue our cats and brought them to her home where she will raise them and love them. She sent us updates on their travels and photos of our cats with her grandchildren. We became friends on Facebook. My daughter and I will be able to inquire and get updates as needed. Thank you, Rescue Me! The experience was everything I was hoping for and more.

     I found a precious and very affectionate and loving young cat in the grounds of the large medical complex next door to my apartment building. My building does not allow pets, and I don't have the energy for that young a cat. We went to all the houses across the street, but no one knew the precious little Eli, nor did anyone know a neighbor who has a cat. It's all dogs, near us. We live in a mix of apartment buildings, light industrial, and a few houses, so it is an easy and a good dump spot just off a very main thoroughfare. Less than six hours after I posted on Rescue Me, a very nice lady and her children came and adopted Eli. Their previous cat had died at age 14 and they were looking for a kitten to adopt. It is VERY difficult to find a place for a stray cat here. My sister recommended this site, and sure enough, IT WORKED!! Our Humane Society no longer takes stray cats, all the rescue places are super-crowded, and most people who love animals usually have one or two pets more than they really want. The kitten I found was SO loving, and so open to being loved, I am tremendously relieved to have found him a good home, who will love him, the same day I found him. It would have been very hard for me to have to take him to the County Animal Shelter, which euthanizes after 72 hours. Rescue Me gave me a wonderful happy ending.

     Our success story began the moment this stray, that was living in a parking lot, found my daughter. After feeding it, bringing it to the shelter to get checked/fixed/up to date, and visiting it every day in the shelter, we just had to bring him home. Although he is still learning his pecking order amongst our other kitties, he has very quickly adapted to our home. He thinks he is king. I think we were all meant to be together...furrrever.

     I signed up for Rescue Me a year or two ago looking for a Birman cat that needed adopting after our Birman died at the age of 16 or 17. We waited patiently and got an email this morning that a Birman kitten was available in our state. It just so happened that the lady only lived about 25 miles from us, and we just picked him up. He is absolutely beautiful. He is exploring the house as I write this. He is a little scared, but on the way home he sat on my husband's lap very quietly and fell asleep.      Wonderful news! Dolly and Matilda have been adopted! We posted these beautiful sisters on Rescue Me! indicating that they had to go together, and within two weeks they were adopted. We had inquiries from several good candidates. Their prospective humans met them over the weekend and the meeting was a great success. The sisters moved into their new home yesterday. For our cats' sake and their adopters' sake, we always proceed on a foster-to-adopt basis. Thanks to our adoption coordinator's skills, there is rarely a return. We think that Dolly and Matilda are already a done deal because just a little while after arriving at their new home, the sisters took up residence together on their new dad's lap!      I just adopted this absolutely adorable kitten, about 3-months old and sweet as can be. I'd been looking for a Siamese kitten to adopt since my Siamese cat passed away a few weeks ago. I drove 1 1/2 hours to the shelter before even hearing back from the shelter whether the kitten was still available. Well, she was and my husband and I couldn't be happier. We have a vet appointment to make sure she gets whatever she needs in terms of tests, shots, deworming and so forth. This rural Animal Services office is doing the best it can but they told me 'kitten season hasn't let up this year' they are getting so many in every week. If not for Rescue Me's Siamese Rescue and this alert poster, I'd never have known about this precious baby and she might well have been euthanized. So a big thank you, Rescue Me!

     Yes, I originally notified the site that Fudge was adopted in late September, despite my using the website to notify you she was adopted late September about two weeks after her picture and story was posted. I tried unsuccessfully to submit the notice, though I continued to get calls from people interested in adopting her. So, I tried once again to notify you today. She was adopted by a family with older kids. They connected by email for a week, asking about her, and then arranged to visit her in person, the week before I had to move and could not take her with me. The meeting was successful and she calmly accepted their gentle, kind attentions and went home with them. The mom was a stay at home mom, which is what she needed! Thank you! It's comforting to know a sweet senior Siamese found a loving home.

     Well, its been a week since making the 12-hour road trip to rescue these two beautiful Siamese cats. Their living situation was sad. Having been living alone for eight months with minimal care (food and water delivered twice weekly) they are extremely shy. I hope with time and daily interaction, good food and clean environment that they will be happy the remainder of their lives. I feel good about helping out in this situation.

     There was a lot of interest in Thom on Rescue Me!, more than I imagined. I suppose it helps that he is such a beautiful boy. That he prefers indoors to out, is gentle and very much the baby, craving attention yet not demanding, it all worked in his favor. My greatest dilemma came from having to choose form more than one suitable home, meeting interested people made it easier and finally I went on my gut feel and the fact that he really enjoyed the laps of the two ladies we eventually chose. Two moms for a cat that loves to be babied made a lot of sense. I waited eagerly for news after they arrived at Thom's new home and when I heard, 'on my lap and purring' I breathed a sigh of relief. I know I will be kept up to date by Thom's new mom's, and even though I feel a little sad, I am happy for him as he needs so much more attention than he could ever receive here, where he has to share it with children, cats, dogs, chickens and a parrot.

     Winter was taken in by a wondering sanctuary in Albany, New York: Hairy Haven. They responded to my plea on Rescue Me! within 24 hours and even drove to Massachusetts to pick her up. They are taking very good care of her. I've already received updates from them with pictures on how she is doing. I couldn't be happier with the outcome for Winter.
